It's Saturday, April 28, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Reliant Arena.

See booths setup by units from around the area, there will be plenty to see/do and tons of fun! Best of all, admission is FREE!

Parking, however, is $8 per vehicle. 

Things to know:

• Wear your uniform, our Cub Pack T-Shirt or Day Camp T Shirt
• Bring a water bottle and a snack
• Wear good walking shoes
• You don’t need to stay the whole time, 2 to 3 hours should be enough. Feel free to stay as long as you wish
• Try to take Cub Scouts in pairs Buddy System, that way when the activities need someone to push the buddy does it
• I (parent) simple follow along taking pictures
• Siblings are welcome too!

There will be about 200 booths! All run by different cub packs or dens through out the council

Here are a few of my favorites from last year:

- Different Boy Scouts Troops set up their favorite outdoor cooking. Yum! There must have been 30 of these kind of booths to sample. FREE!

- Stick hokey anyone? A lot of the booths offer candy for the winners

- Yes…. there is going to be more Pinewood Derby Racing. There were five different tracks you could try out your car. Each track was different… you could lose on one and be big winner on another. You got to see demolition derby …it is head on crash with another car. Exciting!!

- There was a climbing wall. It was one of my favorites (Needs parent/adult to sign a release form)

There will be all kinds of shooting galleryIt is really worth the effort. Additional benefit is some booths will help with earning Belt Loops or Requirements.
