DISCUSSION TOPICS

Transition Campout w/ Troop 38

Forms due to Troop 38 by October 9. Dave will send a reminder to the Webelos 2 dens.

Popcorn Sale

Popcorn orders need to be turned in at the upcoming pack mtg.

October Pack Meeting

Carl outlined plans for upcoming pack meeting. He will send out an agenda shortly. Theme is down on the farm. Dens signing up for tasks include Den 8 (skit), Den 4 (?) and Den 15 (?). Dens should remember to bring their name tags.

Dewberry Farm Outing

An email will come out about this shortly. Families will need to sign up at the upcoming pack mtg. We agreed that we would have Dewberry Farm supply food, rather than bring it ourselves, and the pack would subsize the cost. However, families can bring marshmallows to roast the campfire.

Fall Campout

Sign-up will be at the upcoming pack mtg. Carl and Gary will MC the campfire. Possible Saturday activities include: Nature hike, water gun fight/water rockets, knot tieing, orienteering. Dave will ask Troop 616 if they have a rope bridge we can borrow. May also plan a hike for Sunday morning for those families that can’t make the Saturday morning hike. There will be no charge from the pack for the campout, but families will be responsible for their park entrance fees.

December Pack Meeting

Consensus was to do a toy drive at the December pack mtg. Karen indicated previously that Troop 38 scouts will serve as judges for G’bread Bake.

Blue & Gold

Rosemary will work w/PUMC to identify a date for B&G. Tentative date on the calendar is currently March 2. We will do a toiletry drive at B&G.

Financial

Dave D. will add his name back to the pack checking account so that there are two signatures on the account.
