Guys Can Cook - Gingerbread House Bake & Toy Drive

Schedule:

6:45 – 7:00 Gathering & Toy Drop Off
7:00 – 7:15 Meeting Opening / Judging Begins
7:15 – 7:45 Popcorn sales awards and pie throwing
7:45 – 8:00 Gingerbread House Awards Announced
8:15 Gingerbread House Check Out

Please also bring a new or gently used unwrapped toy to the meeting. These will be donated to the Second Mile Mission Center.

All boys are encouraged to bake and decorate a gingerbread house for judging. Construction is not limited to just "house", so let your imagination runs (as long as it is eatable)!

There will not be an auction this year so each boy can take home their own award-winning entry. Each entry should be identified with a title and the Scout’s name (cards available at the meeting).

Purpose:
• To have fun!
• To promote father / son teamwork.
• To encourage each boy to use his skills, knowledge and imagination to prepare food.
• For the toy drive, bring an unwrapped toy for a boy or girl (ages infant to 16 years old) to share with others less fortunate. All donations will go to the Second Mile Mission Center who will distribute them to those in need.
