Campsites

Bovay Scout Ranch

Run by BSA, all the wonder and beauty of central Texas rolling hills and lakes are available at this camp. It is located three miles south of Navasota on the east side of Highway 6 on County Road 317.

Camp Strake

Nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas lies 2,175 acres of a great camping experience located 40 miles north of Houston and just south of Conroe in Montgomery County on I-45. This is a year-round camp which accommodates all camping seasons.

Bastrop State Park

Bastrop State Park is 5,926 total acres and approximately 30 miles southeast of Austin in Bastrop County.

Brazos Bend State Park

The park is approximately 28 miles southwest of Houston and covers roughly 5000 acres with an eastern boundary of 3.2 miles fronting on the Brazos River on the southeast border of Fort Bend County.

Stephen F. Austin State Park

Stephen F. Austin State Parkand San Felipe State Historic Site is 663.3 acres in Autsin County and is approximately 50 miles from Houston.

Lake Texana State Park

The park is about an hour south down Hwy 59 near Edna, TX. Most of the sites have electricity and water (a few water only). There are bathrooms with showers as well.
